trip to 2008 Il Volpe Sangiovese – Available Now! – This is an exceptional wine from an exceptional vintage and made in a true “Super Tuscan” style. It drinks like a Brunello but at a much lower price. As with all of our Volpe vintages we use our estate grown Sangiovese and estate Cabernet Franc, individually aged in American and Hungarian oak. The 2008 Volpe is 75% Sangiovese, 20% Cab Franc, and 5% Chambourcin. The 2007 Volpe still has the typical Sangiovese nose (yeasty, leathery) and palate (lots of cherry, toast, coffee and spice notes) but has also rich layers of black cherry, chocolate, caramel and spice. This is a wine to savor on its own. It’s also big and bold to go with meats and cheeses, a great steak wine but also lovely with pastas. Sirius

Release! Available Now! - Sirius is our proprietary
blend of Barbera and Chambourcin. It is loaded with cherry, plum and
chocolate notes with a hint of raspberry.
This is a great wine to savor with pizza, pasta, grilled chicken or

grape of the Italian Piemonte, used for Barolo and Barbaresco,

Can be enjoyed now or be laid down for 10 – 15 years with proper cellaring. Fantastic steak wine, cigar wine, a wine to enjoy chocolate goodies, or just all by it’s beautiful self. Alouette 2005, 2006 & 2007 are multiple award winners and the 2008 should match them!
