Typical Seasonal
Activities – All Year (May
– Sept.): Learn about different grape varieties,
flavors, and the wines they make, and vine-growing and wine-making! Spring
(May – June): Bud rubbing, shoot positioning,
trellis maintenance, barrel topping & checking, tank checking. Summer
(July – August): Canopy maintenance (spur tying, leaf pulling, suckering,
hedging), cluster thinning, crop estimating, barrel topping & testing,
red blending. Fall (September):
Suckering, hedging, fruit dropping, field culling, tank maintenance and
preparation, white’s harvest, crush, fermentation. Cost: $492 double occupancy / 15% Off for Groups of 3 or More Price includes: 2 nights lodging at the Grey Horse Inn, breakfasts,
picnic lunch and bottle of wine, vineyard passes, wine discounts, 1 ½ day
training and immersion at Three Fox Vineyards. Add $20 per night for King
